Wow, okay. I will drive for this spot. My father resides on this side of the bay and he introduced us to this hole in the wall.
If you're looking for flavorful, home made, huge portioned meals -- you better be Waze-ing this joint!!
This place had the best:
Sweet and sour chicken (so crunchy, so meaty, so delicious!!)
Chow mein
War wonton soup
Fried rice
And I've been to .. let's just say more than a few Chinese places. I've refused to actually eat at any Chinese hole in the walls because they don't compare to this place. The owner is very sweet and also greeted us and even ensured everything was okay during our dinner. -

Generous portions is what keeps me coming back. Certain items are much better than other near by places while others are not but the price can't beat nearby.
Parking can be tough -

Always a family favorite for sit down, for catering, or even for takeout. Be mindful though, they're closed on Mondays. There are things NOT on the menu that we like to order and they oblige us every time.
Total and complete hole in the wall kind of place. On one instance, one of the cooks was napping at one of the bigger tables on the chairs. Another instance we've seen their workers take up a whole table while cleaning vegetables. But we still keep coming back because it's THAT good.
Every time we come we order the portobello mushroom beef. It's not on the menu but it's so yummy. Similar to a beef broccoli as it comes with both of those things but a heaping of portobello mushrooms mixed in. We also order the chicken chow mein without vegetables and they totally oblige us. And our 3rd must order item is the salt and pepper fish. Always so tasty. And always piping hot when it arrives on the table.
Parking can often be hit or miss depending on the people at the swim school next door. -

Incredibly rude staff, food is below decent and on top of that the woman giving my food coughed all over the place including on our food without covering her mouth. Definitely skip.

I love Mings. Been going here for years because the food is good and they pack the container full everytime I get to-go. Combine the quality of food with decent prices and friendly service, this place makes my old spot , Skyline cafe, look like a turd sitting in a dark alley. All you have to do is call Skyline cafe to hear how much their rude ass waiters hate their lives, but call Ming's and you talk to one of the nice ladies who are most likely one of the owners.
